Support
BV Land Consulting Ltd, along with its wholly owned subsidiary of Northern Rockies Environmental Services Ltd. believes in a strong sense of community. Community support, community involvement both by the companies as a whole and our staff as individuals. Our community is just not the City of Fort St. John, but also all the rural areas for which we work for our clients in oil and gas sector as well as windpower. Our level of support in the communities range from providing instructors for the Land Resource Management Program at Northern Lights College here in Fort St. John, to sitting on the Fort St. John Chamber of Commerce.
As we stretch out to the rural communities we continue to support the North Pine and Kiskatinaw Fall Fairs either through financial support or providing volunteer time from our staff. We have been active in the First Nations communities as well, with providing support for the local rodeos, such as Doig River First Nations and the Halfway River First Nations rodeos. As part of our support for local talent on the rodeo circuit, we have provided funding support to the High School Rodeo Association, the Gymcana Club of Fort St. John, as well as through the North Peace Light Horse Association, with specific events held at the Fort St. John Facility.
We have been proud to support two young people, who compete in the rodeo world, from Devynn Rutz of Rose Prairie BC on the High School Rodeo Circuit in barrel racing, pole bending, to break away roping, to Clayton Moore of Pouce Coupe, British Columbia who competes on the Pro-Circuit as a Steer Wrestler. Devynn made it to the Alberta Barrel Racing Association (ABRA) finals again in Camrose Alberta this year of 2010. We are very proud of Clayton Moore as he qualified for the Canadian Finals Rodeo in Edmonton in 2010 and came second overall in the aggregate, which qualifies him to return to the Calgary Stampede for 2011.
Our community is Northeast British Columbia and Northwestern Alberta. Basically the Peace Arch as a whole, from Ft. Liard, to Fort Nelson, Chetwyn, Hudson Hope, Tumbler Ridge, Dawson Creek, Rolla, to Fairview, Bonanza, Baytree, Spirit River to Grande Prairie on the Alberta side.
From all of us here at BV Land and Northern Rockies Environmental we looking forward to seeing you all in the community of The Peace Arch.
